Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior 3D experience?

Basic 3D knowledge is helpful but not required. We'll guide you through each software from the ground up. If you're comfortable using creative software and eager to learn, you'll do great!

What software do I need?

Unreal Engine 5 (free), and a Fab marketplace account (free). We provide guidance on installation and setup.

What's the time commitment?

The course is 22 hours total. Choose from our 4-week program (one 2 hour session per week), intensive track (two sessions per week), or flexible drop-in sessions.

Is this certification recognized by Epic Games?

Yes! Batship Studio is an Epic Games Authorized Training Center, and this course is taught by an Epic Games Authorized Instructor. You'll receive official certification upon completion.

Can I take this online or is it in-person only?

Yes! This course will be online where you can also meet the artist community!
