About This Workshop
Fortnite has been used as a platform to raise awareness with canpaings like TeamWater, the largest creator-led fundraiser and the biggest campaign for clean water in internet history.
Recently, Miami- Dade county approved allowing corporation Kelly Tractor to destroy 162 acres of Everglades Wetlands to build a parking lot and tractor storage. Without the Everglades, Miami can not exist.
Florida Swamp Simulator in UEFN is a project aimed to raise awareness against the over development and destruction in the Florida Everglades. Funds and any revenue will go towards raising awareness and advocating against development in the Everglades.

What You’ll Learn
This hands on workshop introduces students to Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) through a real-world inspired game project. Participants will design a Florida Everglades themed Fortnite island while learning foundational game development, environment design, and interactive gameplay concepts.
